WRITERS FOR MIGRANT JUSTICE

Writers for Migrant Justice was a collection of writers that came together to generate funds in rapid response to the state-sanctioned atrocities being faced by migrant families seeking refuge. Over 45 cities conduct protest readings on September 4th, 2019 to offer support. Tariq was joined by fellow writers Sumita Chakraborty and Hannah Ensor in hosting the Michigan reading.

We were able to generate over $2,000 for orgs doing necessary work for migrant communities. You can still donate to their efforts by reading more here.
